Re: The Rest of Scottish Fitba Thread
Why are C****c allowed to go to Dubai during a national lock down and not have to isolate when they return when I'm not supposed to leave my house?

Re: Rangers vs C****c - 2nd January 2021 (match thread)
After the first 15-20 it seemed inevitable that a C****c goal was coming. Thank god for McGregor who almost single handedly (excuse the pun) got us to HT at 0-0. Felt sorry for Roofe getting the hook but SG couldn’t afford to send the same team with the same tactics out for the 2nd half. As soon as...

Rangers vs C****c - 2nd January 2021 (match thread)
Thought I would post a wee match thread to see if there is an interest in having a discussion about the game. There is no team news yet but will try and remember to post something when there is.

Sadly I don't think we've had a post since October and it looks like social media wins over the traditional format of the forum.
I still haven't heard from Mike to see if the previous version can be resurrected at all.

Re: St Mirren vs Rangers 30th Dec 2020
S Davis almost playing as a third centre back at times between Goldson and Helander, could be an interesting tactic for Saturday. I was wondering if it would work having a back five with Goldson, Helander and Balogun. Of course no need to fix what isn't broken but just an idea. possible formation: ....

On the off chance anyone is actually still bothering with the forum I thought I would create a thread to discuss today's game. St Mirren vs Rangers - Premiership game 30th December 2020. I can't believe how quiet this forum is now, its a shame. In years gone by after the week we have just experienced this forum would have been bouncing. It's been a great week for us which has been made even better due to the stark contrast of how bad a week that C****c have had.

Re: SPFL Resolution
To be honest I am tired of Scottish Football, to fight our way back up the leagues to be treated like this and have corrupt officials hand the league to them. Now don't get me wrong we would have had a stronger case if our team hadn't imploded and fell 13 points behind in a couple of months. However...

It will never happen but we should: * Increase the top flight to 18 teams, playing each other twice. * Move to summer football or as close to it as possible. * Stop cup replays - play to a winner on the night. * If Rangers and C****c decide to do a deal about away allocations in the future, it shoul...

There are huge decisions to be made, but then the same decisions will have to be made across Europe. Two years of complete surrenders after the winter break, if we get beat on Sunday I think the managers time has come and gone. I'm not interested in going into the ten in a row season with an inexperienced manager. I think Gerrard has made quite a few mistakes but his inability to sort out the defen...

Re: Gerrard in or out
I think he made a mistake in spending what he did on Kent, I'm not saying Kent isn't a good player but we have an abundance of wide players. I think we far too light in the centre forward position, Defoe is not a second choice striker, at his age he is a third choice and to spend £7.5m on a wide pla...

I said the same thing in one of the other threads, our wingers need to be wingers and hit the by-line and then get the cross in, after that the winger on the other side needs to get to the back post, the centre forward needs to hit the 6 yard box and our midfielders should be busting a gut to hit th...

I like Gerrard I do but he hasn't got the time he needs to achieve the success we need in the time frame we have. I've been saying it for years, it's all about stopping ten in a row and for me the only man who I would have entrusted that mission to is Walter Smith. I don't care about what the footba...

His form has really dropped lately. I would say his confidence is really bad at the minute. However not convinced dropping him to the bench is of benefit to us. The lad has loads of tricks. And this brings me to my point. Far too often whem he does the tricks and invariably turns into dead ends or ...

Not getting my hopes up with regards to sports direct but good news about the money, if we don't add anyone of quality in this window then we won't win the league. We need a goalscorer that can bully defenders when Morelos is suspended and someone who can play on the right.

My opinion: 1] Morelos is integral to our success this season. 2] We should bring in two signings this month, a striker with a bit of height and a someone who can play on the right. 3] We were never going to win the league by six or seven points, if we manage it it will be helicopter sunday close. 4...

We need another goalscorer and Helander should be behind Katic for the foreseeable future. I was very concerned about our defence and would have been looking for us to strengthen when Helander was partnering Goldson but for me Katic is first choice.

I think we really need to bring in another striker, he will get more bans before the end of the season and while Defoe is good as back up I think we need another option.
