Re: Happy New Year
Happy New Years guys. I stumbled back across the forum. Fired up an old lap top, tapped on the icon for Gers Forum and here it was - live again. Thought it was long gone. Probably if there was an email sent out when it went back up it would be a wee bit more lively than it currently seems to be. Li...

Thanks Xander.
Sadly I don't think we've had a post since October and it looks like social media wins over the traditional format of the forum.
I still haven't heard from Mike to see if the previous version can be resurrected at all.

Great performance all round. Arfield was my MOM - kept things ticking over and 2 assists. Itten took both his goals really well. Delighted for JJ to get on the scoresheet for us finally as well. Strength in depth is what we need.

To many not at the races. Chances to kill it at 2-1 not taken and Goldson selling the jersey with his defending. Any advantage we had over C****c is long gone. Look forward to hear SG throw the players under the bus and not acknowledge his failings on the touch line yet again. We've got the points ...

Halfway decent start, should be 1-0 up with Morelos' header. McLaughlin with another top class save keeping us at 0-0 now. We need to start to turn the screw on them though, they have too much control of the game just now.

Jack, Barker out. Aribo still not fit. Morelos travels and is available after the gash he sustained vs United. I doubt he'll play though.
Strong team performance required, kill the game early.

An incredibly bad refereeing display which took the shine off an otherwise very accomplished performance. Likewise. Not good conditions today but hopefully DUFC under a manager who doesn't get Scottish football fully will come and try and play and not kick fuck out of us, which will suit us more. Absolutely fascinating. Mourinho is captivating to listen to, how he talks to the players. The insights into the things running in the background of a top club are amazing too.

Another decent 3 points in the bag. Barasic rightly the MoM. Very good FK for his goal and a great assist for Kent. Aribo popping up with a header from a corner - these are the types of goal we need just to give us that cushion and see us through matches in cruise control rather than struggling. Nic...

The Sinner - 2 series both different plots (kinda like True Detective was) - absolutely compelling.
Now on Seven Seconds - quite topical with a dead black kid killed by cops/cover up story but surprisingly it isn't as 'woke' as I thought. It's really gripping.

Definite progress in this side of the business getting rid of SDI / Ashley. In the fight vs the SPFL we've done reasonably well too, pulling the pin and rolling a hand grenade into the room.
