Hibs v Rangers - 12pm KO
Starting XI: McLaughlin, Tavernier, Goldson, Helander, Barisic, Kamara, Davis, Arfield, Hagi, Kent, Morelos.
Subs: McGregor, Bassey, Edmundson, Balogun, Patterson, Barjonas, Jones, Defoe, Itten.
Need the front 3 to turn up here. It's a strong team but very much missing Jack, Aribo, Roofe. Smash them and we send a message out.

Halfway decent start, should be 1-0 up with Morelos' header. McLaughlin with another top class save keeping us at 0-0 now. We need to start to turn the screw on them though, they have too much control of the game just now.

0-1 Arfield and Davis asleep letting the midfielder in the box unmarked.
Ok, genie is out the bottle. Forget it, get on with scoring 2.

Plenty good football but no end product so far. Kent unusually quiet/ineffective.

2-1! Over played things at times but a good turn around.

To many not at the races. Chances to kill it at 2-1 not taken and Goldson selling the jersey with his defending. Any advantage we had over C****c is long gone.
Look forward to hear SG throw the players under the bus and not acknowledge his failings on the touch line yet again.

We've got the points on the board so there's still an advantage over Covid FC. They play Hibs next and their defence is more than questionable and Hibs shouldn't fear playing them with the form they're in. If they match the way they played us they could easily win.Mark wrote: ↑Sun Sep 20, 2020 12:58 pmTo many not at the races. Anyway, it was a poor performance all round and we still went to Hibs, scored 2 and didn't lose. This isn't the season defining moment.

Perhaps not season defining but it certainly lays bare the truth that with all the improvements we’ve made there’s still huge question marks over our bottle. Time and time again under SG we’ve made strides forward (beating C****c, going top of the league) only to throw it away within a few weeks.
We aren’t going to win a league title relying on others doing the business against C****c while we throw away points when the going gets tough.
