Rangers vs C****c - 2nd January 2021 (match thread)

Post by xander1873 » Sat Jan 02, 2021 11:10 am

Thought I would post a wee match thread to see if there is an interest in having a discussion about the game. There is no team news yet but will try and remember to post something when there is.

After the first 15-20 it seemed inevitable that a C****c goal was coming. Thank god for McGregor who almost single handedly (excuse the pun) got us to HT at 0-0. Felt sorry for Roofe getting the hook but SG couldn’t afford to send the same team with the same tactics out for the 2nd half.

As soon as Bitton was (correctly) sent off it was all down to Rangers to go for the jugular.

“All the pressure on Rangers” according to Hartson well there you have it. 19 points clear at the half way point.

Yeah I can't disagree with that.

Performance wasn’t the best but 3 points is all that matters. Another massive game Saturday be a fantastic start to the month if we can come away from it with 3 points
